Hello 2020!

I cannot believe that it is the start of a new decade, let alone a new year! A lot has happened to me this past decade, and I want to continue to change and grow this year. So, I've decided to put out a list of some resolutions I want to keep- some are large and some are small (but mighty).

1. Spend Less & Spend Smarter
2. Save
3. Be Gentle and Kind
4. More Self Love
5. Express Gratitude
6. Cut Screen Time
7. More Solo Travel
8. Bake
9. More Family Photos
10. Post Consistently
I will be making a break down of what my resolutions mean to me, but I figured I should put them into the universe. Once they are out for you all to see there is no going back. Which means I will now have to keep them!
I am happy with the list I've chosen for this year. I've seen many people do 20 things for 2020, but I feel like a list that long just gets out of hand, and it is easy to put things you have no real intention of doing. I chose a mix of physical and mental goals for the year. You cannot just train one side of your body in the gym. No one wants someone with a buff left leg and a wimpy right. Same principal. It's not about being perfect this year. It is about making the steps regardless. People who know me will know how hard that will be for me, I like perfection, but I've gotten into a bad habit of not doing things and using that as an excuse.
Sometimes putting pen to paper and writing out your resolutions is the hardest part. It feels daunting and final. Like you could make a mistake on your own list! But, I hope this helps you. There is a weight that has been lifted by writing out my goals. That may sound silly to some, but i feel like I have a game plan for the new year. Something to help guide me through a year I already know will be an interesting one.
